Monocyte

Monocytes are larger than lymphocytes and granulocytes and contain nuclei that often contain an indentation on one side. The granules of the monocyte contain lysosomal enzymes. Granules in monocytes are numerous, they are just smaller than those in granulocytes. Why is it misleading to call a monocyte a monomorphonuclear non-granulocyte?
Answer: Because it contains granules!
